Position Overview
Medical Office Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.
Location and Hours of Position
Transfer Health Center- Behavioral Health
Position is located in Transfer, PA and hours are as follow:
Monday-8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tuesday-8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday-8:00 am -5:00 pm
Thursday-8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday-8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation
Medical Assistant starts at $15.00 per hour
PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
Education/Experience Requirements
Graduate of an approved schoolMedical Office Assistantand/or two years experience in a clinical setting

- Administering Medication
- Flexibility in the workplace
- Previous venipuncture experience
- Previous injection experience
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

- Strong clinical knowledge
- Computer proficient
