Drive is more important than talent. You do not need a wealth of experience to potentially work with us. We are looking for a Medical Assistant to assist our Nurse Practitioner (NP) so that she can help more patients.

Skills that are required would be with setting IVs and phlebotomy. The rest can be learned with us.

As a Medical Assistant, you will perform various tasks daily without the NP as well. Such as Shock Wave therapy for our patients with Erectile Dysfunction and Front desk reception work when help may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV to patients to Diabetics with more fragile veins
• Phlebotomy work
• Hands on assisting our NP during medical procedures
• Perform Shockwave therapy on patients and possess the ability to be comfortable in personal space of the patients.
• Interview patients for case histories prior to appointments
• Update and maintain patients’ health records
• Assist patients with initial paperwork
• Schedule and coordinate appointments
• Use medical software to support all transactions
• Answer patients’ queries and ensure quality customer service
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to help with medical examinations, schedule tests and order supplies
• Ensure compliance with procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
