Metrea Management oversees 9 global business units via Operations, Strategy, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Participate in the development of the mechanical structure technology roadmap
- Engage with satellite subsystem leads to establish sizing, layout, and analysis of integrated components
- Engage with ACS engineering to establish and maintain necessary CG, inertial and flex mode characteristics
- Engage with AI&T to establish delivery, integration, and testing timelines
- Develop any necessary finite element models to perform mechanical analyses
- Perform the mechanical analyses needed to understand bus characteristics and verify the mechanical design, either the spacecraft structure or for box level design work
- Perform the production and testing of the satellite mechanical structure
- Develop SolidWorks satellite models

Supervisory Responsibility
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Required Education, Experience and Certificates
Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical engineering or similar field
Experience: 2-5 Years
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s License
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card
Preferred Education, Experience and Certificates
Education: Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
