Laurel Circle is recruiting for a hospitality focused MDS Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, maintenance and timely completion of the MDS, care plans and medical records for residents.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an MDS Coordinator:

• Coordinates, conducts and completes the MDS, resident care plans and conferences on the computerized system.
• Assures accuracy and completeness of entire medical records.
• Assures and monitors the MDS's are completed within HCFA and Medicare guidelines.
• Ensures MDS electronic submission occurs per State regulations.
• Participates in family/resident care plan conference.
• Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation.
  

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Current RN in applicable state.
• Current CPR certification.
• In-depth knowledge/experience with MDS software. Experience with MDS transmittal process and understanding of regulations impacting the MDS.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
  

Salary: $47 - $50 / hour
