Materials Planner/Scheduler III

Key Job Elements:

  • Create and manage production schedules that align

with facility metric: CSP (Customer Shipping

Performance), Frozen Schedule adherence, and

Scheduling Variation

  • Update machining SOL (Start on Line) sheet, Daily

Change Log, and Variation reports

  • SOL/FOL (Finish on Line) reporting for all scheduled

value streams

  • Manage exception messages Production lines

supported

  • Release production orders to shop floor
  • Collaborate with customers service, based on

material deliveries and shop floor performance

  • Support facility S&OP
  • Respond to all internal customer requests for

scheduling improvements

  • System data entry/spreadsheet verification and

analysis

  • ERP system use/training to users
  • Create/provide necessary reporting/documentation
  • CI card support
  • Create/improve process documentation and standard

work

  • Support initiatives to improve OPACC throughout the

facility by impacting turns, touches, packaging,

and/or POU presentation

  • Perform safety audits as required
  • Reporting as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 Year Production planning experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of PC Data entry.
  • Knowledge of LN ERP planning preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Proficient level skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Power BI)
  • Ability to present to team members and other area leaders.
  • ASCM Certification Preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing Preferred
  • Strong interpersonal/communication/prioritization skills

Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office climate. ~50% shop floor time required.

Infrequent need to physically move material. Must be able to team lift up to 55 lbs.; must be able to push and pull up to 125 lbs.
