Job Title: Materials Handler 1
Pay Rate: $19/Hr

Location: Walpole, MA

Shift 1: 7:00 AM -3:30 PM

Note: Must pass a background check and drug test with minimum education qualification of High School Diploma

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

This position requires Contingent Workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Job Description -

• This position is to provide support to the department for an employee who is on long-term disability.
• Completes basic operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).
• Unpacks incoming goods according to respective instructions.
• Completes packaging activities of deliveries following shipping instructions, types of packaging, and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
• Completes transportation of goods inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.
• Stores are good at following the store instructions.
• Contributes to regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
• Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
• In Production: Operates a defined number of related specialized machines and equipment, which may include prescribed CNC programming (i.e. setting parameters) to set up the machines for the production program.
• In Assembly: Incumbent needs to have a certain degree of theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding to operate in qualified assembly processes, which includes effective usage of a number of tools and machines during the assembly process.
• The Assembly process however still repetitive and routine.
• 2 years vocational training + up to 1-year experience needed Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field of work, gained through a structured and focused two-year vocational training period.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
