Warehouse/Production Material Handler

Specific duties may include:

* Understands and performs daily inventory functions to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of the inventories in support of the facility.

* Ensures discrepancies are promptly highlighted, investigated, and resolved.

* Assist Purchasing Manager in keeping track of inventory as it moves in and out of particular locations, ensuring stock movements are valid, authorized, correctly processed and accounted for.

* Completes daily, weekly, and/or monthly cycle counts which include validating quantity on hand, checking expiration dates and making necessary adjustments to inventory documentation.

* Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse.

* Responding to calls in a timely and professional manner

* Completing pick ticket orders

* Unloading/Receiving deliveries

* Pulling and staging orders to meet execution schedules - coordination of entire pic process to include ingredients, spices, bulk, and bulk breakdown

* Ensure FIFO methodology is executed

* Performing rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis

* Inventory management of ingredient storage

* Inventory management of cooler and freezer storage

* Double checking all incoming deliveries for accuracy

* Operating forklifts safely and responsibly.

* Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner.

* Performing all duties safely

Specific qualifications include:

* Superior attention to detail.

* Good organizational skills

* Previous warehouse experience is preferred

* Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently

* Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb, and reach throughout complete shift.

* Forklift experience required

* Flexible, multitasker, ability to handle last minute changes to plans

* Willing to work outside of said responsibilities when needed

* Positive attitude and team player

Requirements and Skills:

* Computer skills with Excel

Education/Experience:

* High School Diploma

* Knowledge of warehouse processes manufacturing operations.

* Experience in production operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
