POSITION OVERVIEW
The Mat-wash Lead is responsible maintaining the Mat-wash operation to ensure maximum uptime and throughout. daily functions include pump and filter maintenance, preventive maintenance, parts ordering and keeping maintenance appraised of the machines overall operational performance. The Mat-wash Lead is responsible for cleaning pumps and filters in the pump house during down time cleaning operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain the Mat-wash machine.
• Operate a fork truck to move mats around the Mat-wash operation and lumber yard.
• Sort and stack dirty mats that need to be washed in the Mat-wash production area.
• Perform mat flipping operation to clear most of the dirt from the Mats.
• Perform cleaning operation for the filters in the pumphouse.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the machine as required.
• Work with the maintenance department keeping them apprised of the machines overall operational performance.
• Reporting on machine efficiency with reason codes for down time.
• Operate front end loader and empty the dirt collection area for mat flipping.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• H.S Diploma or GED
• Must possess valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Basic computer skills

• Technical knowledge of the pressure pumps.
• Technical knowledge to replace parts.
