About us: Reach Bodywork Studio is an open room concept for bodywork where Specialists work side by side to help individuals in our community feel better and maintain their overall wellness. Our product assists with injury prevention, optimizes performance and enhances overall well being. We use a combination of massage, assisted stretching, percussion, trigger point, and myofascial release techniques to help people maximize their overall wellness. Our members partner with a Stretch Specialist to develop a customized plan for relieving pain, increasing flexibility, preventing injury and reducing muscle imbalances. About the position:

Our Stretch Specialist will work directly with clients to develop and execute a bodywork plan personalized to meet their individual needs. Qualified candidates will be a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant or Licensed Athletic Trainer. They will understand anatomy, physiology, the medical code of ethics, and will have a strong commitment to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. Additionally, they will be kind, patient, approachable and able to listen and apply their expertise in a thoughtful way.

As a Reach Stretch Specialist you will:

• Lead one-on-one bodywork sessions in an open room environment
• Follow Reach techniques including active assisted stretching, trigger point release, myofascial release and high speed percussion.
• Demonstrate exceptional care and attention to clients; be kind, approachable, and genuine.
• Facilitate the sales process, increasing client participation.
• Energize and motivate clients throughout sessions, encouraging loyalty and retention.
• Use clinical knowledge to make sure the movement, pressure, and angle of entry are appropriate.
• Excel at working autonomously; demonstrating a high level of initiative, credibility and trust.
• Work in the studio and discuss with clients what their wellness objectives are, develop a plan of action, and educate on stretches to maximize outcomes and accommodate specific needs.
• Adjust communication style to accommodate diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the Reach Bodywork Studio team; demonstrate flexibility and positivity when working through challenges or adapting to change.
• Be receptive and enthusiastic about Reach Bodywork Studio training, follow customized program of treatment methods, techniques and approach.
• Maintain high level of energy, enthusiasm and attention during your shifts.
• Be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule; studio hours 8am-7pm Monday- Friday and 8-2 pm on Saturday.
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
• Be motivated by our mission and excited to work as a team to make a difference.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified applicants must have:

• A high level of confidence with no ego
• An up to date license in Massage Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Athletic Trainer
• Intermediate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Experience working one on one with clients using hands on methods
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to providing and exceptional service experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Reliable form of transportation
• Available weekends, some holidays
• Post-certification experience not required; if you’ve just completed certification and are looking for a great place to practice, we’d like to speak with you!

Ability to:

• Adjust communication style to accommodate a diverse audience
• Maintain high level of focus, attention and enthusiasm for long periods of time
• Comfortable moving and adjusting physical anatomy of others, applying pressure and motion as needed
• Stand for long periods of time, moving around constantly
• Drive to various locations around town to perform demonstrations
• Maintain high level of energy, enthusiasm and attention for long periods daily
• Perform bending, lifting (up to 15 lbs.), pulling and extending repetitively daily

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
