As a Licensed Massage Therapist with FYZICAL you will:

Job Responsibilities

• Discuss client concerns, medical histories and specific stresses or pains to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment.
• Massage soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance or medical conditions.
• Educates the clients on the benefits of the service performed and recommends products for home use
• Knowledge of other modalities/certifications a plus
• Maintain confidentiality of patient personal health information in accordance with HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to local and state licensing/certification laws.
• Adhere to the clinic mission, policies, standards, and goals.
• Maintain a professional and clean working environment and appearance

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Customer service oriented: must exhibit a strong desire to help others and be able to effectively communicate the benefits of massage therapy in a professional, courteous, friendly, and sincere manner.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Successful completion of an accredited massage therapy certificate program requiring a minimum 500 hours of instruction plus supervised clinical hours.
• 1 year of professional massage experience is preferred.
• Active and valid Texas State Board of Massage Therapy license is required.
