Job Location: 100 Tokeneke Road, Darien, CT 06820

Position Type: contract( 8 months) with possible extension

Pay rate $60/hr on w2 with benefits

Hybrid, some on site preferred

Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree is required. An MBA is desirable.
Minimum of 8 years of increasing responsibility in CPG industry.
Ecommerce and Amazon experience preferred.
Strong communication skills. Demonstrate team building, collaboration, and leadership.
Passion for beauty with experience in hair care & hair color. Beauty innovation experience preferred.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and bias for action. A confident decision-maker who is creative and detail oriented.
Commercial acumen, experience with P&L and budget management.
Experience working in start-up environment preferred.

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains marketing strategies for the brand across both at home hair color and haircare/treatment categories to meet the brand and company objectives.
Partnership with internal sales account team to launch and develop brand at specialty retail outlets
Manage internal innovation process and helps with strategic recommendation to the brand innovation roadmap in partnership with marketing direction
Analyzes market trends and brand performance to aid in the development and introduction of new products and go-to-market activities (social strategy, email strategy, specialty retailer promotions, ecommerce promotions) and ensures excellent execution of these programs.
In partnership with external agency, and internal creative team, brings brand to life and creates a community through strong campaign content.
Manages and develops marketing presentations for new distribution expansion meetings.
Collaborates closely with external PR agency to ensure brand strategy is aligned and outreach is impactful and within budget.
Clearly communicates the category/brand vision, focuses team on key objectives, stimulates innovation, ensures tasks are accomplished with excellence and in a timely manner, and leads problem solving to remove obstacles and resolve issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
