Job description
SUMMARY
Sales/ Marketing Administrative Assistant works under supervision of the Marketing Director. They are responsible for maintaining global and per account data, run reports, breakdown and prepare marketing analysis. They work closely with the Marketing team and assist sales with presentations and monthly reports. They support sales efforts by processing all sample requests.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma
- At least 5 years of experience

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written form.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficient at Microsoft Office.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety and legality of food.

- Manage 1 Sync/Global Sync initiatives for all business segments
- Manage syndicated data and develop reports for sales team including identification of private brand SKU’s within report
- Organize and ship samples for various presentations and good shows.
- Maintain most up to date items in samples freezer.
- Work with sales to continually develop effective account presentations
- Specific Regional Manager requests by territory needs
- Electronic communication data
- Handle and process of new item/customer or vendor request forms and sales bids
- Assist in broker training materials and email distribution
- Support broker/market targeted sales initiatives
- Help Implement planned promotional programs
- Assist with coordination of national food shows as needed
- Preparation of sell sheets and sales presentations for new product showings and/or holiday specials/promotions
- Collaborate with Marketing to support new product introductions
- Maintain and organize new items, launches and projections
- Update and maintain website and broker portals
- Performs other duties assigned as required.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit at desk for prolonged periods, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to focus in order to properly construct reports, use a computer and color coordinate monthly reports.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high and will include, but not be limited to, production machinery, computers, printers, telephones, and normal communication. Hearing protection will be required for all in plant activities.
- Must be willing to work under various temperatures ranging from typical 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
