Job description
The OLM Manufacturing Technician is responsible for producing commercial bulk chemical product and accurately and efficiently weighing out raw materials and raw chemicals. The OLM Manufacturing Technician is expected to encourage safe practices and enforce safety policies.
Schedule: Rotating 12-hr NIGHT shift 5pm - 5:30am
2 days on, 2 days off, and work every other weekend
General Responsibilities
- Accurate measurement of chemical ingredients
- Operation and cleaning of mixing, blending, and milling equipment
- Documentation of manufacturing processes, both handwritten and electronic
- Movement of raw materials from warehouses to manufacturing areas
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work and cooperate with team members in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of measurement scales, mixing, blending, chemical mills and other formulation manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and lean manufacturing
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
- Demonstrated attention to accuracy and detail
- Intermediate foundation in science and mathematics
