Our new client in Salem, NH is a small, 20 person company, manufacturing a very small medical device, and has been in business for 32 years.This company offers health, dental, and vision insurance
Also, profit sharing is available after 1 year of employment
The current tech has been there for 30 years, and most employees 20+ years, so they are looking for someone with longevity, not a job jumper.
The position would involve wearing “all hats” to support all, repeat all, of their manufacturing facility. The manager uses the term Manufacturing Technician, and the duties would include:
Adding new raw material when a machine runs empty, and assuring the machine runs correctly.
Replacing worn tooling with new, and assuring the mc runs correctly.
Changing tooling for different size runs.
Repairing worn tooling.
Trouble shooting machines to correct issues.
Periodic and preventative maintenance.
Installing new / repaired machines, or portions of machines.
Controlling process parameters of semi-automatic mc’s that have no production person attending. Some run 24/7.
Repairing anything that breaks, fails, etc.
Able to read an installation manual, pneumatic flow chart, and simple blueprint
The production line is specialized for their product, so they would train; a quick learner is essential.
