Job description
This position supports the Director of Nursing, by managing RGH nursing operations within the Nursing Office including Bed Coordination, Quality, Clinical and Financial data collection, analysis, review and submission. This position oversees Nursing Office non clinical staff providing 24x7 coverage to Nursing.

ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor Degree Required
- Strong background in data analysis
- Two (2) years of experience performing data analysis in a healthcare related field required; three (3) or more years of experience preferred
- Experience in a position analyzing information to solve problems, interpreting and communicating information orally and written
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with the application of continuous quality improvement concepts, such as Six Sigma
- Demonstrate ability to assist with strategic direction and achieve targets
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily Oversight. Manages Nursing office staffing, bed coordination staffing and 24*7 day to day operations.
- Collaboration. Work with and support bed coordination to ensure appropriate patient placement at RGH. Provides support to the Director of Nursing Operations with Operating and Capital Budget formulation and ongoing variance review. Assists Nurse Managers with Planning, Sider submission and analysis.
- Compliance. Responsible for managing data collection, analyzing and submission for Quality, Clinical and Financial Reporting for RGH Nursing both to internal and external sources. Identifies and presents process, financial and clinical quality improvement opportunities
