Reporting to the Corp Director, Governance and Portfolio Management, the Manager is responsible for executing an effective and efficient intake and scoping process to inform Governance decision-making. The Manager will engage all relevant Pop Health and cross-functional stakeholders in scoping projects. The Manager will manage the process to ensure speed to delivery and efficient throughput of the process enabling critical work to begin.

  • Manage centralized Portfolio intake and scoping process to ensure Governance team has information needed for business decision making.
  • Work in collaboration with governance bodies and other committees, both within and external to Pop Health, to scope projects effectively ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately engaged, cross-functional needs and requirements are captured and addressed in plans.
  • Identify and monitor the value capture for every project across its lifetime from inception through first year of implementation.
  • Actively support Project Owner throughout the intake process and with the preparation of materials necessary for Governance decision-making
    • Facilitate assessment discussions with Project Owners (and other stakeholders as necessary) to ascertain information necessary to appropriately size and scope initiatives as well as provide planning and governance bodies sufficient information for initiative prioritization, approval, and resourcing.
  • Maintain Portfolio roadmap and drive regular reviews with VP Strategy, Corp Dir Governance and other Pop Health leaders.
  • Manage the portfolio leveraging the full strategic, operational, and project-based capabilities of PlanView.
  • As requested, prepare materials for executive level meetings.
  • Prepare and facilitate Portfolio Intake meetings and other meetings as requested by the Corp Dir Governance and Portfolio Management.
  • Support communication of Portfolio Intake/Assessment decisions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Integrate and collaborate with Pop Health sub-processes to ensure continuity of project information and plans from intake, through design, through implementation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support the performance management process for HVOs entering the Wave system.
  • Support project teams with identification of change control thresholds, risk management and de-escalation plans where needed.
  • Coordinate with the Manager Strategic Communications and Change management to ensure plans are prepared and appropriate for each project to ensure smooth implementation.

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • PMI or other program/portfolio management certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Portfolio Management Project Management or Program Management.
  • Experience with Planview or other PPM software.
  • Experience in monitoring business KPIs and representing status in executive level communications.
