Position Summary

As the Senior Asset Management and Maintenance (AM&M) Leader, the primary focus of this role is to lead the transformation of Spruce Pine’s asset management process and capability so that it is a source of sustainable, and considerable competitive advantage. You will lead a team of subject matter experts in asset reliability management and maintenance and provide technical advice and services to the team in the areas of asset reliability & productivity improvement. You would effectively be supporting the following work streams: work management, asset tactics development, condition monitoring, reliability, defect elimination, and hydrocarbon management.

Responsibilities

· Safety Leadership - Ensure Compliance with Safety and Sustainability Standards of asset management and maintenance personnel as required by law and company policy.

· Asset Management and Maintenance Activities - Support operating divisions to improve the productivity of new and existing assets by focusing on operations, reliability engineering and best maintenance processes.

· Budget Management - Complete budgetary plans and cost control activities and reporting.

· People Management – Direct, oversee, and/or assist with all recruiting, training, personnel development, and optimum functioning of the asset management and maintenance team.

· Warehousing - Implement a spare part optimization and effectively manage the spare parts in the warehouse.

· Continuous Improvement - Have a systematic view of the overall value chain of Spruce Pine integrating technical, Operational and Financial levels, in order to identify the most important prioritized levers that help to get more sustainable value added to the business.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

· 8+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Leader or Manager in a manufacturing or mining environment preferred.

· Proficient in English. Other languages are an asset.

Salary Range - $110,514 - $138,142
