Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and NYS driver's license required

• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position

• Experience working with tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• General passion for creative problem-solving and working with individuals.

Maintenance Technician Duties Include:

• Order and purchase maintenance related supplies

• Apartment Maintenance (through work orders)

• Maintain all records as requested

• Maintain courteous, tactful and professional relationship with vendors, other service providers, clients, etc.

• Meet with landlords to determine repair responsibility and schedule

• Complete work orders in a timely manner

• Comply with all workplace policies & procedures

• Attend/participate in any/all required trainings related to the responsibilities of the position

• Performs duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management staff, as required
