Maintenance Technician
Job description
Are you a friendly problem solver who can deliver a five-star experience to our guests? Then you might be perfect for the maintenance engineer role at our hotel.
The hotel maintenance tech responds to guest requests, building notifications from the front desk, and you will work quickly to ensure the guest has a great stay, perfect room, while ensuring you keep housekeeping and customer service in mind while performing a work order.
Compensation:$17 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:- Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner
- React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
- Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures
- Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction
- Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
- Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
- You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
We are a newly renovated hotel in a high occupancy market. The management team has been intact at the hotel, and we really are looking forward to having a special person join our team.
