Elm Crest Senior Living Community, an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician to help with our building and campus up-keep.

Pay starts at $17/hr based on experience. This is a full-time day shift position working 8am-430pm.

As a Maintenance Tech, your role is integral in ensuring efficient operation and upkeep of our facility and the property. Your primary focus will be conducting general maintenance and repairs on both our facilities equipment and building structure. This includes but is not limited to basic mechanical maintenance, electric, HVAC, plumbing, and general dry wall work. This position will also perform necessary upkeep of our landscape and grounds such as snow removal. Lastly, you will assist with transporting residents to their appointments both in and outside of the city.

What you will need:

• One year+ of general maintenance experience is strongly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with good driving history
• Must be able to meet physical and sensory job requirements with ability to move through the day, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds
• Covid-19 vaccination is required to work in a healthcare setting
