Repairs existing machines and supports equipment as needed to keep production running.- Performs routine maintenance on machines based on TPM practices.
- Orders replacement parts for all machines as needed and ensures level 1 parts are in stock for immediate needs.
- Assists with the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance program.
- Assists the manufacturing engineers with setting up, modifying and disassembly of production lines.
- Supports all lines as requested by line leaders, supervisors, or managers to keep the lines running at full capability.
- Assist with the design and creation of custom equipment and assembly fixtures.
- Provides support to the facilities manager when requested.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of standard work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for trouble shooting equipment.
- Assist in layout, building and maintaining assembly lines and assembly cells.
- Assist in identifying and implementing new equipment.
- Assist in repair on production equipment as needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and power tools
- Electrical/electronic knowledge; hands-on experience on various assembly lines
- Machine shop experience
- MS-Office Experience
- 1 + years’ experience on various assembly lines
- Should possess or be working toward one of the following or similar college degree or certificate programs ASEE, ASIE, ASME, or technical certificate.
