Perform a variety of operations to move, install, maintain, and repair plant machines and equipment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced vocational training or degree preferred.
- Five (5) years of maintenance in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Candidate must possess the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machine controls that include pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical / electronic components.
- PLC systems knowledge is required
- Possess knowledge of department product, procedures, and equipment
- Possess attention to detail
- Communicate professionally at all levels of the organization
- Work effectively with limited supervision and maintain a positive working relationship with all team members and plant personnel
- Comply with all OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
- Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
- Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
- Reacts to change quickly and to handle other tasks as assigned
- Fork truck certification is preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and routings
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software is preferred
- Must be computer proficient and able to navigate within Oracle and Excel computer programs
- Punctual daily attendance is a key requirement for success in this position (including Saturdays and/or Sundays)
- A written test must be passed to be considered for this position.
