BCT Cast Products LLC, a division of Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. (BCT),has a full- time Maintenance Supervisor position available.

Blast Cleaning Technologies is one of the fastest growing shotblast manufacturers in the world. Located in the historic renovated Allis Chalmers building in West Allis we are proud to announce the expansion of our manufacturing to include a new state-of-art Cast Products facility which is also located in West Allis. Our new Cast Products facility will feature the latest technology for the precision casting of shot blast wear components as well as utilization of new eco-friendly products that will create a cleaner working environment. We are looking for motivated Foundry technicians ready to contribute in all areas of our plant to create a truly remarkable, world-class facility.

General Description

Under the direction of the VP of Cast Products, the Maintenance Supervisor will be instrumental in maintaining all equipment and building functions. Generation and completion of equipment and machinery p.m.’s while maintaining a safe working atmosphere will be priority.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

· Direct, plan and coordinate operations for the maintenance department to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production.

· Ensure focus on safety when completing all tasks.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Develop and maintain an effective machinery maintenance program, including preventative maintenance and critical component inventory. IE Tool crib

· Analyze equipment or machine problems, quality problems and production delays, expediting repairs and / or corrective actions to minimize downtime and work schedule interruption.

· Utilize and manage outside vendors, consultants, and sub-contractors in conjunction with engineering and purchasing departments to supplement company resources when required.

· Work closely with production control and manufacturing departments to schedule maintenance and / or repairs at appropriate times.

· Maintain the training of maintenance personnel.

· Develop and complete maintenance and routine tasks to ensure functional operation and reliability of BCT assets both moveable and fixed.

· Develop and maintain P.M. logs on fixed and moveable equipment.

· Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, etc.

· Helps drive and support BCT’s Culture and Core Values

Education and/or Experience

Requires high school or equivalent degree and three to five years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

H/she will frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or touch, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and move from place to place. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, color vision, and depth perception. The employee will occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver several hundred pounds a short distance. The employee will frequently lift up to 25 pounds. Employees will frequently use material handling equipment, such as forklifts and cranes.

Work Environment

This job operates in a factory environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is often loud enough to require hearing protection.
