Job description
Summary
Responsible for the maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of the CCF assigned property. Ensure assigned CCF property is operating in compliance with all agreements, current affordable housing program guidelines, and company procedures under general supervision of the Property Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Cleans external areas of buildings, including picking up debris from parking lot, washing down buildings and windows
- Cleans internal areas of buildings, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, dusting, etc.
- Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup
- Maintains the alterations to, or maintenance and upkeep or reconditioning of property as appropriate
- Make Ready vacant units – make repairs, paint and clean units in preparation for lease up
- Paints interior and exterior walls and trim
- Responds to emergency calls and situations as required
- Repairs parking lots and sidewalks with cold patching materials and concrete, as needed
- Light electrical experience – replace switches and outlets as needed
- Light plumbing experience – unclog pipes and install plumbing fixtures as needed
- Executes written work order or verbal instructions from Property Supervisor
- Be on call as needed
- Track inventory and prepare order for Property Supervisor to place
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years property maintenance experience
Good communication skills
Painting, electrical and plumbing experience
