Acara Solutions is looking for a Machine Shop Manager for our Aerospace client in Tucson, AZ
Excellent position with a successful Tucson aerospace company for a person with a solid background and experience in the specialized repair of turbine engine components by welding, grinding, and machining.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the TIG Welding Shop, Lathes, ID/OD Grinders, Mills, Jig Bore, curvic grinding, hand finish and outside processes.
- Oversee and manage employees
- Manage the repair process to meet budgetary and customer lead times.
- Development and maintenance of repair processes in accordance with FAA approved data.
- Development and maintenance of labor standards
- Work Order scheduling
- Provides labor and material estimates to Sales for Customer quotes.
- Maintenance of shop equipment
- Works with Engineering on repair development.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in process planning with conventional equipment such as ID/OD grinders, TIG welding, tracer lathes, mills, and Gleason curvic grinder required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- A background in repair development is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
