DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a motivated and experienced machine operator to join our 2nd shift panel, operation team! This position is responsible for roll forming operations in the production of steel fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of production techniques, great attention to detail, and a dedication to safety.

The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off on day one and mentorship support to ensure successful team member growth and development. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity

• Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment

• Ability to set up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form or paint quality finished or semi-finished parts

• Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation

• Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment.
• Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools.
• Willingness to train, certify, and operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
