Job description
Job Description: This position is responsible for material handling on the off-load side of a component saw, conducting quality checks for cutting accuracy, then stacking cut lumber to be placed into the kiln. Stacker is also responsible for stacking finished product.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Receive cut lumber from saw process
· Follows instructions for stacking material properly and according to company policy and customer requirements
- Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements
- Ensures correct quantities and material are strapped, labeled before leaving the work area
- Maintains accurate inventory of supplies and reports any problems or discrepancies to manufacturing and production foreman
- All employees must maintain a safe and clean work area;
- Supporting other areas of the operations as needed; and
- This is a fast-paced work environment, so you need to come to each shift prepared to work hard!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
