Job description

We are a busy multi-specialty practice with four locations looking for an experienced LPN to work in our Gastroenterology office and help in handling a multitude of responsibilities including order processing, prior authorizations, medication refills, patient care coordination, patient call backs, scheduling, as well as other responsibilities. This is a full time, M-F position.

The LPN's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitors clinical office supply inventories and orders accordingly
• Assists with patient recall
• Communicates with patients regarding test results, medication refills, addresses patient concerns with providers
• Obtaining prior authorization for medications, outside testing, specialty services
• Work within our online booking platform to coordinate online appointment requests
• Coordinates with EMR and pharmaceutical vendors, for support as needed
• Other duties to be assigned
• Assists physicians and medical staff as needed with patient care

Experience in a medical office setting is a must , along with EMR experience( E Clinical Works), demonstrates supervisory skills, strong communication skills, flexibility(working hours may vary day to day), organization, multitasking, and works well under pressure. Experience in obtaining prior authorizations is a plus.

Salary will commensurate with experience, each candidate will be required to submit a resume, and three professional references.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
