Licensed Practical Nurse: Inpatient Residential care for adolescents (aged 13-17) at the Academy
JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides nursing care to adolescent patients in an inpatient, substance use disorder treatment setting. The Licensed Practical Nurse would be responsible for administering care, observing, re-assessing, and documenting medical issues as well as providing other services authorized by licensure. This also includes administering client medications, screenings and providing the patient with health care education. The Licensed Practical nurse will work with the program physician and other members of the treatment team to coordinate patient care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- High school diploma/GED required
- One year of experience working in the medical and/or behavioral health field preferred
- BLS Certification (preferred)
Salary:
- $25.00/hr plus shift differential
- $1.50/hr evening shift differential
- $1.00/hr weekend day shift differential
