The lot crew is a dynamic and service-driven position. The successful lot crew member will be willing and able to execute various tasks within the service lot that expedite service movements and emphasis safety to personnel and equipment. He/she must be task-oriented, responsible, and capable of completing any task requested with little-to-no supervision. Ability to backup and maneuver trailers using various types of equipment (e.g., truck, tractor, gator) is a must. Lot crew members shall carryout their duties in a manner that assures safety for themselves, the customer, and marina property.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for moving boats throughout the lot via tractor or truck.
- Scheduling company equipment for routine maintenance through the service department.
- Haul Outs
- Requests for storage boats to be moved.
- Ensure all boats in lot are safely parked, secured, and covers are installed correctly.
- Ensure plugs are out of all boats in lot.
- Ensure that lot is clean with no trash, dirt, leaves, etc.
- Anything else needed or asked upon.
What does a qualified candidate look like?
- On-Road Towing Experience
- Heavy Machinery (tractor) Experience
- Boat Trailering and Hauling Experience
- Forklift Certification (Bonus Qualification)
- Valid driver's license, clean background screening and clean drug test
