Job Description

The Lot Attendant helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by maintaining our vehicles and the lot in a highly clean and organized fashion. He/she oversees the delivery of vehicles to the dealership, organizes vehicles on delivery or following sales to maximize the use of lot space and keep the lot in order, and services cars to protect against deterioration and maintain a spotless appearance for customers.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates must have a positive attitude, great communication and customer service skills, and strong organizational and problem solving skills and must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order
  • Helps maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary
  • Greets visitors and guests and directs them to the right person or department
  • Follows all safety and security procedures
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in a similar role a plus

The Lot Attendant Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $15.50 and $18.00.
