RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide daily direction to Order Management and Shipping Team who perform work in workload planning and execution, scheduling pick-ups, shipping and billing for outbound parcel and freight including international shipments while adhering to corporate direction and minimizing excessive cost.

· Act as liaison between Customer Experience and Warehouse Operations teams with the goal of complete customer satisfaction. Provide timely feedback to Customer Experience team when inquiries are received.

· Provide proactive initiatives to eliminate shipping and picking errors contributing to inventory and customer dissatisfaction.

· Lead proactive audit process before shipments are billed out.

· Data Analysis for sales projections, customer reported and shipping discrepancies, and workload

· Communicate with staff and employees to drive alignment and consistency to goals and company objectives

· Manage performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and housekeeping expectations and drive personal accountability

· Address performance problems, recognition, and provide coaching where appropriate

· Ensure policies and work practices are administered in a fair and consistent fashion

· Ensure a continuous focus is place on process improvement and reduction of waste

· Empower and encourage employees to continually evaluate and improve daily processes

· Ensure a safety-driven culture by investigating and implementing good corrective measures where needed. Adhere to company safety policies and ensure team is aligned.

· Awareness and development in maintaining and adhering to departmental budgets

· Team player in all aspect of business

ABOUT YOU:

· 5 years of progressive warehousing experience with 1 year of supervisory experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Ability to read, write and speak the English and Spanish (preferred) language to communicate with employees, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.

· Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

· Must be able to plan and organize work schedules.

· Must be able to communicate well, coach, lead, and empower people.

· Must be able to drive accountability, resolve conflict, and manage performance expectations.

· Must be able to apply situational leadership techniques in a changing team environment.

· Must be able to resolve problems and troubleshoot.

· Must be able to use creativity to seek quality solutions and process improvements while keeping in mind the needs of the business.

· Must be able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

· Must be able to anticipate the needs of internal and external customers and is self-directed in achieving results.

· Must be able to work any shift, as needed.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
