LMSW/LPC - PRN/Per Diem

Brightwell Behavioral Health is a 23-bed inpatient facility providing patients with compassionate and comprehensive treatment for all their psychological, behavioral, physical and socialization needs. Ideal Therapist may have experience with:
- Conducting psychosocial assessments to document history, strengths and preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and when needed, their family members.
- Completing Master Treatment Plans in a timely fashion.
- Providing short-term individual counseling, community resource planning, and crisis interventions.
- Facilitating educational and other didactic groups and process-oriented therapies using various professional treatment modalities.
- Coordinating individualized discharge plan for the patient by consolidating treatment team interactions and patient progress to determine the patient's aftercare needs.
- Building relationship with community partners and maintaining thorough referral resources.
- Interpreting, supporting, and executing department policies and procedures regarding the provision of care.
- Completing and maintaining accurate and timely clinical and progress notes.
- Practice keeping up-to-date knowledge by participating in continuing education activities.
- Seeks guidance in, remains knowledgeable of, and complies with, all applicable federal and state laws, as well as hospital polices that apply to assigned duties.
- Maintains a professional approach with confidentiality.
- Assures protection and privacy of health information as attained through written, electronic or verbal disclosures.
- Complies with hospital expectations regarding ethical behavior and standards of conduct.
- Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to mitigate risk to patients, families, visitors, employees, physicians and the system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselor
Experience Required: Requires 3-5 years of experience as a therapist with preference given to those with experience in adult mental health, geriatric and or medical work
Licensure: Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
