Responsible for handling laundry pick up, delivery, weighing and recording

Responsible for handling laundry pick up, delivery, weighing and recording
Essential Functions
Interacts with all patients, guests, physicians, and other employees in a proactive, courteous, respectful and friendly manner.
Remains aware of visitors and patients in the hospital public areas; assist these hospital customers whenever it appears
appropriate by providing directions, helping them with chairs, or doors, etc.
Responds to common inquiries from customers.
Delivers clean linen to user areas on established and changing par levels.
Uses hand held computer (if applicable) or manual system to credit and debit clean linen to user areas.
Records telephone requests for linen on the Telephone Log. Pick up soiled linen from user areas and deliver to the holding area for
Laundry pick up.
Identifies user areas (of both clean and soiled linen) that need attention prior to them becoming complaints or problems.
Weighs and records clean linen when delivered and soiled linen at pick up.
