Do you have previous experience working as a prep cook? Do you like working in a fast-paced food environment? How would you like to work for one of Cookeville's most beloved restaurants? Our client is known for serving delicious food and booking the best live music in town!
Schedule:
- Days- 9:00am- 3:00pm-
- Evenings- 3:00pm- 10:00pm
- $13.00-$15.00/hour DOE- rate of pay will vary depending on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
- Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
- Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
- Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
- Distributing plates to wait staff to be served, cleaning plates for dishwashing, and preparing takeaway packages for customers.
- Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen is preferred.
- Working knowledge of operating a fryer, flat-top grill, sauteacute; station, and char grill.
- Aptitude for multi-tasking.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
