Thank you for your interest in The Parched Pug! We will be Libertyville's first Gastropub with a gamery, which will consist of both a large board game library and Nanoputt, our version of a table top miniature golf. We will also have Lake County's first self pour beverage wall consisting of 42 taps of local craft beer, wine and cocktails. We are looking for line cooks with energy and creativity to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. Responsibilities

• Help in the preparation and design of all food menu
• Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
• Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
• Familiar with industry’s best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
