As a recipient of a Title V grant (The Avanzar Project), Rio Salado is excited to develop innovative and powerful solutions that will allow us to more effectively engage and support our underserved populations and our Latinx community. This position will be crucial to realizing our vision of building positive outcomes and access to success for these student groups. The candidates awarded this position will be responsible for learning the functions of the college and the roles of its departments in order to be an effective liaison between students and services. Rio Salado is looking for self-driven, motivated individuals who can build and foster relationships with students, stakeholders and staff alike while maintaining communication and advocacy for our underserved students. This position will provide a unique opportunity to act as a change agent and build an environment of hope and access for our students. Aside from being organized and relationships-oriented, candidates considered for this position must be outgoing, approachable, and passionate about the work. Candidates will need to be solutions-oriented and able to take initiative as well as be able to work in a team/group setting with other stakeholders, faculty, and students.
