Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with $500 Sign-On Bonus

We have an opening for a Licensed Vocational Nurse that can provide nursing care in accordance with the legal scope of practice within established standards of care and work well with patients and a multidisciplinary team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Our residential facilities & clinics cater to the needs of the elderly, developmentally disabled, adult and youth populations in the Sun Valley, Burbank, North Hollywood, and Glendale areas. Essential Responsibilities:

• Sets priorities according to most emergent needs on an ongoing basis.
• Performs LVN skills in compliance with all approved policies/procedures with minimal or indirect supervision.
• Recognizes & clarifies inappropriate orders.
• Collaborates with appropriate health care team members in a timely manner to facilitate patient outcomes.
• Re-enforces learning & discharge planning needs of patient/family & documents teaching in a timely manner.
• Documents clinical activities in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 12-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekends

Required License/Certification:

• Valid California Vocational Nursing license.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a Livescan background check.
• Must have or attain a current CPR card.
• Must have a current physical with negative TB results.

Notes:

• Company will cover all costs related to CPR card, Physical with TB test, and Livescan.
• Company will also reimburse for uniform cost up to allocated amount.
