Description:

The Clinical Therapist provides assessments, treatment planning, counseling services to adult consumers within a core service agency. The Clinical Therapist reports directly to the Clinical Director.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Provides diagnostic assessment and reassessments as clinically indicated
Facilitates treatment planning in collaboration with treatment team.
Completes clinical documentation to include GAIN-SS, LOCUS
Completes timely clinical documentation timely
Makes recommendations for treatment, outreach, transfers and discharge services.
Provide therapeutic interventions to consumers.
Participates in treatment planning/clinical meetings
Engages in agency’s Quality Improvement Plan.
Maintains compliance with Human Resources Documents.
Engages in collaborative care and coordination of external referrals
Participates in mandatory clinical supervision as required by licensure and professional boards and DC regulations Upholds professional and ethical standards as outlined by professional board.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Licensed LICSW, LPC, LGSW or Psychologist in DC

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
