Licensed Practical Nurse
Job description
We are currently looking for a Home Care LPN licensed in the state of Georgia for a long-term permanent contract opportunity. Ideally, the person in this role will service a young client needing total care due to developmental disability in a private home care setting. Also we serve adults and elderly in need of skilled nursing.
Shift Details:
GA – Dekalb County
Requirements:
- LPN License
- Clean criminal background check
- Negative TB test
- History of no misconduct
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR; First Aid Certificate
- Ability to Read and Write English fluently as essential to safety and effective function of job
- Possess cellular phone with access to internet
- Skilled Nursing Experience
- Experience working in home health, hospital, intensive care or home services for medically fragile or developmentally disabled preferred
- Skilled in critical care nursing
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to take verbal orders
Trach Care
Vent Care
G-Tube Feeding
Client Observation
Monitoring Medication
Lift and Assistive Devices
Regularly assess the needs of the clients receiving nursing services
