JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position is responsible for providing case management support to persons enrolled in the Hospital Violence Intervention Program. The Violence Intervention Liaison will provide proactive mentoring, peer interventions, guidance and one-to-one advocacy to at risk youth and young adult victims of gun and other violent behaviors. This position will conduct in-hospital and client visits and work collaboratively with community partners and resources.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Graduate or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Combination of education and/or work experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE: Successful applicant must be qualified by education, training or experience to work with at risk youth/young adults. Bilingual applicant preferred. Successful applicant must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Valid Tennessee Driver’s License and access to an operable motor vehicle.

Schedule: Part-time, Evening shift, 5:00 pm-10:00pm
