Ross Development is seeking applicants for the position of In-House Corporate Counsel position. This position will report to the owner. The successful candidate will provide business legal services and advice for a variety of company legal matters as assigned and will perform other duties pertaining to this work. Significant areas of practice will include the following: reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts and corporate agreements; advising on legal matters; and conducting research and providing support. This position will regularly interact with company employees, legal professionals and others in the performance of his/her responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in the review, drafting and negotiation of contracts and other legal documents, including real estate agreements, lease agreements, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements, purchase and selling agreements, and financing documents.
• Provides advice and assistance related to various legal matters and issues involving real estate and business transactions
• Assists with dispute management and resolution, including litigation matters.
• Provides support, research, and assistance regarding federal and state regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates and engages with outside counsel on legal matters, as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Graduate from law school
• Member in good standing with the Ohio Bar
• Proficiency in real estate law
• Outstanding legal and business judgement
