Lead Preschool Teacher

• Associate in Early Childhood or related field (Preferred)

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

The Lead Teacher, under the direction of the Director, is an experienced individual who will plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, that supports and encourages the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of all students in their classroom. The Lead Teacher will conduct student assessments, create lesson plans, and offer direction and guidance to the assistants, who work together in the completion of activities.
Responsibilities also include communicating effectively with the parents/guardians by keeping them up to date on their children’s progress and providing a nurturing and caring environment for the children. The
Lead Teacher along with her teaching team will maintain ratios and ensure the safety of children at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
