RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Lead Platform Engineer (ServiceNow) in Schertz, Texas (TX).

Summary:
The Lead Platform Engineer (ServiceNow) is expected to act as the technical lead in projects with hands-on involvement in software architecture design, development of software applications, and integrations. This role involves deep analytical skills as well as strong communication and team skills. You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Network and/or Application Infrastructure with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in a Global Enterprise environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in all aspects of the infrastructure life cycle for Enterprise Network, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Lead Platform Engineer will plan and implement network changes in a high-availability environment
• Work with deployment teams and data center operations providing support during new capacity additions and changes on the Enterprise network
• Maximizing network performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Installing and configuring Infrastructure equipment
• Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating Infrastructure issues to other employees and management
• Lead Platform Engineer is maintaining current knowledge, understanding of security, and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
• Installing and maintaining operating environments
• Monitoring these operating environments

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5+ years of related experience, of which should be with hands-on architecting, designing, developing, and implementing Infrastructure solutions; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience administering physical, virtual, and network computing environments
• Experience with manufacturing IT systems/solutions
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD administration
• Scripting knowledge via PowerShell
• Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, and anti-spam solutions
• Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; Eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies
• Ability to work and communicate within a global, culturally diverse, and fast-paced team environment
• Network Infrastructure related project management and architecture design
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Evidence of developing innovative solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
