Paisley Gardens is a small landscape contracting company with a focus on commercial landscape maintenance and installation in the New Orleans metro area.

This is a full time position but we are willing to work around a schedule of someone who is in college/school or may have specific schedule restraints. Please bring this to our attention when applying.

Paisley Gardens installs and maintains a wide variety of landscape designs that include indoor plants, natives, rooftop gardens, and typical New Orleans style.

It may be hot outside, but we are a cool group to come grow with.

Job Description

This full time position involves all aspects of landscaping maintenance and installation. Typical daily duties include:

-Turf mowing, weedeating, edging

-Shrub/tree pruning

-Weeding of garden areas

-Installation of trees, shrubs, and annuals

-Inspection of plant material at job sites

-Irrigation Maintenance

-Rooftop garden maintenance and installation

-Indoor plant maintenance and installation

Minimum Qualifications

-Be 18 years of age or older

-Ready to work in miserable weather conditions (i.e. May, June, July, August, September)

-Excellent communication skills

-Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching

-A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills

-Skills in various gardening techniques and equipment

-Knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers. etc.)

-High school degree is preferred

-A valid driver license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
