Job description

The Label Clerk is responsible, as part of a team, for the preparation, inspection, and printing of materials for product labeling. You will ensure that the materials meet company, consumer, and legal requirements prior to printing, and help ensure inventory is properly cycled.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize label requests and update artwork in a timely manner
• Inspect labels and ingredient documentation to ensure claims are consistant and accurate
• Monitor updates to ensure products with similiar ingredients are consistant with one another
• Investigate and resolve label inconsistencies and inventory discrepencies
• Other expectations and duties as defined by the company

Requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; Post-secondary education preferred
• Basic computer competency
• Compentency in Google Docs / Microsoft Office (or equivalents)
• Attention to detail
• Numeric literacy and problem-sovling skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
