Maritime Farms is looking to fill the Key Deli position in our Peaslees store location in Jefferson. This position would be major part time initially with the opportunity to advance to full time after a 90 day trial period. If an internal candidate is already full time, that status would remain. Strong work ethics and the ability to work well with others is a must. The position does require flexible hours including some evenings and weekends. The successful candidate would be responsible for ensuring all food produced in the deli is of the best quality, taste, and appearance possible and that the deli area meets and exceeds State and Maritime standards at all times, and that deli orders are taken accurately and prepared in a timely manner. The Key Deli person also maintains in house reporting and manages deli inventory to ensure proper inventory levels. Responsibilities also include making sure that appropriate menu items are available at the proper times during the day and ensure that the stock needed for the next shift is pulled and prepped, as well as maintaining proper inventory rotation.
