Kennel Assistant
Job description
Animal Hospital of Waynesboro is seeking a part-time kennel assistant available for morning, evening, and weekend shifts (evenings and weekends primarily). Applicants must enjoy working with cats and dogs, be motivated to work hard, be VERY dependable, take INITIATIVE, and be able to work INDEPENDENTLY once fully trained.
Duties include, but are not limited to, caring for our boarders and hospitalized patients (dogs and cats), cleaning up after animals, doing laundry, washing dishes, cleaning the hospital, and helping out with other tasks as needed. Animal handling experience is a plus. Must be 16 years or older.
