Job description
- Directly coach the Portage Central Junior Varsity Boys Tennis Team competing in the SMAC conference tournament play.
- Assist PPS facilities department with the maintenance of the tennis facility.
- Work in concert with the Varsity Head Coach
- Previous tennis coaching experience with a preference towards previous team leadership..
- Superior technical knowledge of the sport of tennis and a high level of tennis instruction ability.
- Ability to communicate, foster and maintain positive relationships with students, other coaches, administrators, news media, boosters, and parents.
- Transparent and proactive communication, well organized, and detail oriented.
- Has high expectations and coaches with passion and integrity.
- Ability to deal with and resolve conflict.
- Desire to serve others.
- High moral character.
- Ability to understand and follow policies (PCHS, PPS, MHSAA)
- Must undergo a background check and fingerprinting

Job Summary:
Responsible for coaching the high school Junior Varsity Boys Tennis team at Portage Central High School, supporting the Portage Central Boys Tennis Program in General.
