The Junior System Administrator will need at least 5 years of experience in system administration and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one.
We have expanded into Canada, Australia and Europe (Sweden and Germany) so multi-national experience, or the interest to gain that experience, is highly preferred.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a key member of the Infrastructure team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Responsible for maintaining and documenting network infrastructure, servers, SAN/NAS shared storage, hypervisors, etc. as requested.

Manage cloud PaaS (such as Azure and AWS) and SaaS (such as O365 and Google Workspace).

Creates and administers firewall security policies to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and/or client requirements.

Performs patch management of various systems including, but not limited to, security appliances, servers, and other endpoints as requested.

Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and new technology related to networking infrastructure.

Performs other duties as assigned.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
-
4+ years of experience in network and server administration
-
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments, such as AWS or Azure
-
Working knowledge of Google Workspace or Office365
-
Experience in virtualization such as VMware
-
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
CCNA, VCP, CompTIA Security+, AWS/Azure Administrator, and/or similar certifications are highly preferred.
